Powers; Originally by imbibing special capsules of Pym particles, Pym was able to shrink to half-inch size and adventure as the Ant-Man and, later, to grow to 30-foot size and adventure as Giant-Man and Goliath. He soon switched from using capsules to a Pym particle-filled gas, but eventually his body had absorbed enough particles to shrink and grow at will. At one point, Pym found himself able to use the Pym particle field about his body to shrink and grow objects in contact with him, and he carried various high and low tech equipment in his jumpsuit. Currently, he can only shrink and grow objects that have been specially-treated with Pym paticles beforehand. When fully grown as Giant-Man or Goliath, he also exhibits superhuman strength.
Abilities; Pym is a brilliant scientist in both the feilds of robotics/cybernetics and biochemistry. During his carreer, he created robot Ultron, explored and repaired the Vision often, and created much of the Avengers' equipment. Another robot, Rover, was a jet with rudimentary artificial intelligence and sophisticated offensive capabilities. His greatest scientific acheivement, however, was the discovery of "Pym particles" that enable mass to be shunted or gained from an alternate dimension.
Weapons; As Yellowjacket, Pym used his shrinking ability along with a bio-energy gun (later incorporated into blasting gauntlets.)
Paraphernalia; In his insect guises, Pym used a communication device in his helmet that allowed him to communicate and control insect life (mostly ants) and a loudspeaker that enabled him to be heard while shrunken. As Ant-Man, he often used miniaturized equipment such as a slingshot-type vehicle to propel him to trouble spots around Manhattan.

NOTES: Hank Pym was a scientist that discovered a new particle that aloud the user to change his size. However after an experience with an anthill he decided to rid himself of the formula. However he continued to pursue it and even invented a helmet that allowed him to talk to insects. Some thieves then tried to steal the formula and Pym had no choice but to don the helmet and protect the formula from the thieves by become the Ant-man. He soon met Jan Van Dyne who would go on to become his wife (and then ex-wife). They were together when the Avengers first formed. It was around this time that Pym decided that the Avengers need more strength and became Giant-Man, growing instead of shrinking.
