Powers; Weapon X is a mutant with a powerful healing ability which is so strong it appears to have extended his life. Weapon X also acute senses, making him an expert tracker. He also has claws that extend from his wrist. Lacing his entire skeletal structure is a virtually indestructible metal known as Adamantium.
Despite the extent of his healing factor, Weapon X is not immortal. If the injuries are extensive enough, especially if they result in the loss of vital organs, large amounts of blood, and/or loss of psychical form, such as having flesh burned away by fire or acid, Weapon X can die.

NOTES: Weapon X is obviously the Wolverine of the AOA universe. He unwillingly joined the X-men but reconsidered when he met Jean Grey, which who he became lovers. (Cyclops was the adopted son of Mr. Sinister.) When Jean Grey was capture Weapon X left the X-men to rescue her. He then encountered Cyclops which who he gouged out one of his eyes. Cyclops in turn destroyed his hand. Jean and Weapon X escape and both agreed not to return to the X-men becoming Mercenaries instead.

NOTES: When they learned that Apocalypse was going to attack Europe they went to warn the Human High Council. But the Council wanted to destroy America by nuclaer missile. Without Wolverine, Jean went to warn the X-men. Wolverine eventually went after her but only to see her get destroyed by Havok who he then killed and got a burnt face from. He was then seen carrying Jean's body away.
