NOTES: James Proudstar is the younger brother of the original X-men Thunderbird, who died on his second X-men mission. James blamed the X-men and stole John's body to preform his Apache burial ritual. He then took the name Thunderbird and attacked the X-men. He eventually called off his vengeance and even join the X-men's splitter team X-force, which he serve til M-Day where he joined the X-men.

FIRST APPEARANCE: X-Force #1 (2008)

NOTES: He remained with the X-men and joined Xavier's team when they went to stop Vulcan, Cyclops and Havok baby brother, from destroying the Shi'Ar Empire. They failed in that mission when Vulcan became the ruler of the empire. He was sent back to Earth with a number of other X-men. He became a main part in the Massiah Complex and after was asked to join Wolverine's more lethal X-Force.
