NOTES: Ben Grimm of the Ultimate universe was friends with Reed long before they went into college. He used to protect Reed from bullies while Reed would give him a hand with his studies. Eventually, himself and Reed went their separate way, Reed going off to the Think-Tank and Ben going off to college. They still remained the best of friends. Reed invented Ben to the test of his teleport through the Negative Zone. It was this day that would change Ben's life forever.
