He even had to pretend that he was a mutants, He marriaed Gwen Stacy and had a son named Richard, after his dead dad. He was even a big celebrity and had J. Jonah Jameson working for him. However that all came crashing down when he, as the crazy Green Goblin, exposed that he wasn't a mutant. He faked his death.
