NOTES: Spider-man was having a good time. He was a member of the New Avengers, living in Stark / Avengers Towers and was in perfect health or so he thought. It turns out that Spidey was dying from a rare disease. What was worse Morlun had returned to feats on Spidey. Spidey started to become irratible and take it out on the people he loved.

NOTES: After realising there was no cure, he started to spend the last of his time with his loved ones. However, Morlun decided to pounce and nearly killed Spidey. Tracking him down to the hospital, Morlun was about to killed MJ when Spidey woke up and attacked Morlun like a Spider. He then killed Morlun and "died" himself.

NOTES: While MJ and the Avengers were arranging his funeral, Spidey started to crawl out of his old skin. He then wrapped himself in a weird cacoon under a bridge where he begin to tranform. After he awoke, he returned to the tower and to his loved ones. However his costume was in shreads so Tony Stark gave him a new costume. The Iron Spider was born.

NOTES: One of Spider-man first jobs with the Iron Spider costume was taking down the Titanium Man. Having just agreed to become Tony Stark protege, Spidey and Stark went to Washington to try and stop the Registration act. However Titanium Man was hired by Tony Stark to attempt to assasinate Tony Stark. Huh? What? Read the books you'll understand.

Future Foundation Spider-man

SERIES/WAVE: Marvel Universe Wave 18

FIRST APPEARANCE: FF #1

NOTES: When Human Torch was killed off by Marvel, they decided to rename the Fantastic Four, the Future Foundation. To replace Human Torch they decided to go with Spider-man as his replacement. Gone are the blue and black costume and now are replaced with a White and Black costumes. There is a running change of the Fantastic Four box set that will go with this figure, essentially completing the team.
