He is a seasoned unarmed- and armed-combat expert, was a heavyweight boxer in the Army, and holds a black belt in Tae Kwan Do and a brown belt in Jiu Jitsu. Fury has honed his fighting skills sparring with Captain America, perhaps the world's finest unarmed-combat expert. Fury ingests the Infinity Formula annually, slowing the process of aging in his body. In his youth, Fury learned to fly planes and wing walking.

NOTES: Nick Fury is, or was, the leader of SHIELD since it's construction. He was hand picked by Tony Stark to lead this UN Piece keeping unit (ironic considering Iron Man is now the director of SHIELD). He was reluctant at first but accepted. He then went to recruit his old Howling Commandoes buddies like Dum Dum Dugan.

NOTES: Under Fury's leadership, SHIELD became Marvel premier spy agency (think MI6 just cooler). However, Fury isn't above doing thing that can get him in trouble with the Super-heroes of the world. The best example of this was his Secret Wars, where he took a bunch of heroes to Latarvia (by then free from Doom's control) and attacked the current leader, wiping this from the team's mind. As you can guess it came back to bite him in the butt. He is now on the run from SHIELD.

NOTES: Nick Fury could be consider Marvel resident Jack Ass. Yet many people trust him with their lives. Captan America has know Fury since WW2 and Cap was the only person he told of the secret hideouts he set up through out the country. Spider-woman was trusted enough that he allowed her to be a triple agent against Hydra. Now whether it was Spider-woman or her Skrull impersonator is unknown.
