Powers; Marvel Girl is a mutant with virtually unlimited telepathic powers, allowing her to read minds, project her thoughts into other minds, stun the minds of others with telepathic mental bolts, and cast psionic illusions such as those she uses to mask her facial tattoos. Marvel Girl also possesses telekinetic powers that allow her to levitate matter. By levitating herself, Marvel Girl can "fly" at great speed. The upper limits of her telepathic and telekinetic powers are not known.
Marvel Girl also possesses the psionic ability to project her own consciousness or those of others into the timestream, causing them to arrive in another time period within the body of their divergent counterpart or closest living ancestor or descendant.
Marvel Girl's past link with the Phoenix Force gave her even greater psionic abilities, such as being able to manipulate time, space, matter, and energy for virtually any purpose.

NOTES: Rachel's life story is very complicated. First off, she comes from the "Day of Future Past" timeline. She travels back in time and joins the X-men when Jean Grey was dead (get used to that). She joins the X-men and then was a founder of the Excalibur team. After Nathan Summers was born, she was seen in the future as Mother Askani. However, sometime before that she was captured by Bogan and made into his slave. The X-Treme X-men saved her.

NOTES: Not long after Rachel was found, she joined the XSE and the House Of M happened, a Shi'Ar death squad arrived on Earth. Fearing that anyone with the Grey gene could become a host for the Phoenix, they attacked and killed all of the Grey family and branded Rachel back with a mark that would warn them if she became the host. To say Rachel was pissed is a understatement.
