NOTES: Okay. When Iron Man first started out, it was the Cold War. So alot of the time he was just fighting Communists from Russia and China. Soon enough, he had a deathly chinese enemy in the Mandarin. A descendant of Genghis Khan, The Mandarin found a crushed spaceship. In that ship, he found 10 gems, each with their own powers, which he made into rings. He soon went to fight Iron Man, who he believed had the greatest scientific technology of all that he needed to rule the world.

NOTES: After constant defeats by Iron Man and the lost of his hands, Mandarin changed his objectives. He decided to rid the world of technology. Iron Man and Force Work went to stop him but the non-tech field rendered Iron Man's armor and US Agent shield useless. It was around this time that the Mandarin learned of Tony Stark secret. Iron Man then went on to defeat the Mandarin.
