NOTES: In the Iron Man movie (2008), Obidiah Stane is the second in charge of Stark Industries. He hired the Ten Rings to kill Tony Stark, but they decided to hold him for ransom instead. He was shocked when Tony returned home and even more shocked when Tony said Stark Industries isn't making any more weapons.

NOTES: After Tony found out that Stark Industries was selling weapons to terrorists, Obidiah revealed that he was behind it and that he was pushing to have Tony voted unfit to continue to run the company. He then acquired the blueprints for the Iron Man armor and the Mark I armor, which he had built into a bigger and better armor. He became the Iron Monger when SHIELD came to arrest him.
