The NYCC has just finished and Hasbro had quite a few things on display this time. The main display was Wave 2 of the new Marvel Legends series. For those forgot, the wave will consist of Dark Wolverine (a change head was also shown), Madame Masque (the Viper / Madame Hydra variant was shown as well), Thunderball (with a Piledriver variant shown), Big Time Spider-man (a FF Variant was shown in the panel slides), Bucky Cap and Drax. However the biggest surprise of this wave was that Fantomex will also be realise in his X-force costume (with a possible all white variant). Of course the BAF of this wave is Arnim Zola and a Red Skull faceplate variant.
During the panel a few cg and presculpts were shown and the first few figures in wave 3 were shown. Wave 3 will have US Agent, Jim Lee's Punisher, Moonstar and a Modern Comic Blade. Though they weren't given a particular wave, Archangel (possibly X-force with classic variant), Jim Lee's Jean Grey and Strife (though they may all be in the 3rd wave.) NO news on the BAF of this wave but I'm hoping it's Thanos.

The MU line got quite a few new figures and concepts shown. Some new images of the Hercules and Nova wave were shown in the panel. There is also a new Team set, the "New Avengers" with a new Red Hulk and repacked Thor and Iron Man (Heroic age). Wave 21 with have the Jubliee figure (though she is in her most recent costume with a possible variant) and new Professor X with hover chair and a brand new character for some Blastaar!!! Some preview image were also shown. Medusa and Karnak of the Inhumans were shown and it is believed that they will be part of a box set with either just Blackbolt or the whole family. Classic Black Knight and finally Eric Masterson Thor was shown along with a Thor Frog Pack. Bad move there Hasbro. All 3 aren't even in the New Avengers.

Finally they showed the Avengers movie line. There will be 6inch figure of Cap, Hawkeye, Thor and Loki from the movie. The MU scale showed a new Hawkeye, Black Widow and Loki. But the biggest surprise is that they are doing a few comic figure for it. Shown were 2 Ultimate version characters, Thor and 2nd costume Hawkeye.

Okay! Has everybody settled down after this fantastic weekend? Good. That's nice to here. If people don't know what I'm talking about it's basically the fact that SDCC happen and we got some brilliant news.
First and I think foremost news is that Marvel Legends is Fecking BACK!!!! Not only that but they will be doing BAF again!! The first wave will consist of the Big 3 of next year, Steve Rogers (Heroic Age), Iron Man (Extremsis with Stealth Variant) and Thor (redeco of the SDCC exclusive), as well as Dan Ketch's Ghost Rider in his Spirit of Vengeance costume (red orange and red variant), new to the line Constrictor and Klaw (they have MU figures) and finally the brand new character Hope Summers. The BAF will be...............Terrax, the stone Herald of Galactus. If that wasn't enough, the second wave was also reveal, although only some of the actually figures were shown. Instead we got ink drawning of them. The wave will constist of Bucky Cap, Thunderball (with Piledriver variant, they said they would be doing the rest of the WC), Madame Masque (with Madame Hydra aka Viper Variant) which figures were shown, and also Drax the Destroyer (Annihilation), Big Time Spidey and Dark Avengers Wolverine (Daken) who only had inks shown (they may reveal the figure at the NYCC). The BAF of this wave is.....................Armin Zola, who will also have a Red Skull chest plate Variant.
As for MU, the recently announce wave 16 by BBTS pre-order is not exactly what one would expect. For those who don't know, the line will consist of Unmasked Extremsis Iron man and a Human and fully Powered Absorbing Man. Bad Move Hasbro. Also in this wave are Astonishing X-men Wolverine, X-factor Ice-man and Ultimate Magneto (a new sculpt and my guess is that they will have a classic variant or repackage later in the series) which make up for the other 2. The last wave of the year, wave 17, will mainly consist of repaints. The main figure this time is Psylocke and Patriot (his first costume). With there be a X-factor variant and more Young Avengers? Also in this wave is the White and Gold repaint of Iron Fist, a repaint of the GSX box set Storm in her Astonishing X-men colors, a new Head of the SDCC exclusive Age of Thunder Thor and a Shadowland Daredevil (new sculpt on Guardians body).
2012 will start off better with some long awaited characters in the mix. Spidey will more then likely be getting tons of figures this year so be prepared. First off wave 18 will consist of Ultimate Spidey and New Sculpt Hulk as well as new characters to the line, Kraven, Beta Ray Bill and Beast (in his post Messiah Complex costume). Wave 19 was reveal in the panel and later display in the booth. It will consist of Scarlet Witch, She-Hulk, Kang as well as a new sculpt Punisher and a Future Foundation Spider-man (it may have a paperbag variant). While I'm at it I should also mention that The FF team set will also be get a Variant set in the same costume so the team will be complete. Lastly wave 20 was reveal in the panel but they only show the noncolored figure or the computer rendering. Anyway, the wave will consist of Classic Angel, Nighthawk, Nova (Annihilation), 80's Avengers Hercules and Puck. While Jubilee was also shown, she may not be part of wave 20.
For the 2 packs got 4 new sets. First of all the already reveal Thanos and Adam Warlock was shown along with new sets, Secret Avengers Moon Knight and Ant-man Eric O'Grady, Unmasked Juggernaut and Colossus, Gambit and Mr. Sinister and a new sculpt (different from wave 17) Daredevil and Bullseye (I can already see which comic will come with it). The Masterworks of next year will be a orange Fin Fang Foom (a green on is mostly likely) and this one will have pants and light and sounds. There will also be a Avengers deluxe line which will consist of mainly rerelease as well as a light-up stands that combine. Shown were Bucky Cap, Iron Man (Bleeding Edge), Reborn Thor and new sculpt Hulk. Shadows on the back of the box reveal that Hawkeye, Black Widow, Steve Rogers and Spidey will also come out to complete the set. There is a new five pack for starting members that will have have Classic Thor, Cap, Iron Man, Spidey and Wolverine.
To finish up, they also revealed the new Avengers movie figures of Iron man, Captain America and Thor.

Toy Fair 2011 has just finished and we have gotten alot of great news.
First the bad news. There is no comic figures for Thor. That really blows Hasbro. However, a bit of good news in that is that there aren't only doing Thor and Loki, as the Warrior 3, Sif, Odin, Heimdall (Deluxe Exclusive), Destroyer and a Frost "Gaint" are going to be availible.
Cap's comic line didn't really get any new characters. Hasbro has said that the line will be a mixer of the 3 sub lines (Movie, Comic and Concepts) but it looks like it will be mostly comics for the first 2 waves.
The MU main line showed 2 waves. First wave will consist of Falcon (with Redwing), Skaar (Son of Hulk), Dr. Doom (straight repaint) and Scarlet Spider. Next wave will contain Commanders Rogers, X-23, Darkhawk, Namor (New sculpt), Ultron (straight repaint) and Dr. Strange. There is a Rocket Racoon and Groot figure planned but nothing is shown.
The 2 pack get 6 new sets. Warlock VS Thanos was announced but nothing was shown. The romoured set of Power man + Iron Fist and Spider-man + Captain Britain prove to be true. Their will also a Quicksilver + Wonder man set. No X-men First Class movie figures (Truth be told Im glad) but instead they have decided to give us 2 set based on the X-men First Class comics, Cyclops + Jean and a straight repacked Brown and Tan Wolverine and XMOW Sabretooth.
The Sentinel will be availible for the SDCC in the same blister card format as Galactus but the retail one will come with *groan* Tiger stripe Wolverine.
A third team set was announced in the form of the Fantastic four. The line up is the same as the original cartoon but Invisible Woman, Thing and Mr. Fantastic will have updated costume and there will be a Herbie pack-in.
ML fans will be glad to know that Modern Thor will be availible as the first figure of the new ML line. I think they said it was for the SDCC. After that Bucky Cap and Ult Hawkeye were announce. But the biggest news is that the BAF (best part of ML) will return. And who get the honor? The long awaited and wanted Terrax. Fuck Yeah!!!

First update of the new year. (And for a while by the looks of things. Sorry :() Anyhow, I got some good news for you. Those of you would have heard the rumour of the MU Greatest Battle listing from Wal*Mart. We'll we now can saw that at least 2 of them are real. Deadpool will be come with a new Taskmaster and a Madripoor Wolverine (new costume at least) will come with a Silver Samurai. Now I can only hope that the other 2 rumoured 2 packs (FA Captain Britain/Spdier-man and Powerman/Iron Fist) are real.
