NOTES: Hope was the first mutant to be born after the event know as M-day. The Purifiers sought to kill her to prevent this future from happening, by eliminating all the children of the town. The time-traveling X-Man, Cable was able to rescue her from the horrible fate of death and he identified her as the baby "Mutant Messiah" that would be responsible for saving both mutant and humankind.
