FIRST APPEARANCE:Astonishing X-men #1
NOTES: In this most recent costume, Cyclops, along with his new girlfriend Emma Frost, became the headmasters of the Xavier's School after Xorn's attack on New York (Planet X Saga). Storm's team returned and many X-men rejoined. Cyclops decided to split the team up, one lead by himself, one lead by his brother Havok and Storm leading the XSE. He then decided that they should al wear costumes instead of the leather uniform during the New X-men series (apparently black leather is scary).

FIRST APPEARANCE:Astonishing X-men #1
NOTES: For there first outing as the Astonishing X-men, they had to stop a terrorist hostage situation organise by Ord to learn about them. They barely stood up to him until Lockheed came in and burnt Ord. Afterwards they learnt of the "cure". They decided to infiltrate place where they could find the cure, only to discover that not only was it was given to them by Ord but it was done by using Colossus as a test subject.
