FIRST APPEARANCE: Amazing Spider-man #86
NOTES: This is Black Widow's most famous costume. Most new comers think this is her first costume but it's actually her second. Her first costume was when she had black hair and fishnet stockings. When she first retired from superheroing (is that a word?), she began to crave adventure again. She decided to get back into the action and came up with this costume and tested it by fighting Spider-man (granted Spidey wasn't the best then.)

NOTES: Black Widow had a short lived solo comic sharing with the Inhumans. After this she met up with Daredevil. The two started out as rivals but soon came to love eachother. After a fight with Hawkeye and her joining the Avengers they soon broke up but remained close. She was there to stop him from killing Baby Karen when he believe the baby to be the anti-Christ.

NOTES: Black Widow eventually joined the Avengers full time. She stayed with them for a while helping them with fighting the robot that was sent after Masque. When the Avengers were thought to be dead after the Onslaught saga, she took over the team. She tried her best to keep the team running but she soon fell into depression. After the team returned, she left the team.
